Suits

Attributes

Attribute range
0-10 for average human with 10 being peak human.

Hand size
-Normal human being with average attributes (0-9) starts with 4 cards, one for each attribute category. Additional cards are awarded for largest attribute in each group: 1 additional card for every rank-10. Actual peak human equals an attribute of 10.

Modifying attributes
-Each card in attribute*s suit contributes x% of attribute where x is the value of the card. Non-suit cards will contribute 10% of the attribute to the end result.

-Results are compared to a target which represent the difficulty of the task. If the attribute result equals the task number exactly; a partial success is achieved or success is only thought to have been achieved (good/bad draw may be necessary). If result is greater than task number; success is achieved.

Warning: If result is more than double the task number than a good/bad draw is necessary to determine if character has overreached himself. In the case of a physical task, the character may not know his own strength. In the case of a mental task, the character may have over-analyzed a problem. In the case of a social task, the character may have attracted unwanted attention. In the case of a meta task, the character*s trans-dimensional portal starts sucking Philadelphia into another reality.

Playing cards
-Players can play their entire hand at any time. They may draw another full hand if not in a turn-based situation. If a turn-based situation is in affect, then only one card can be drawn at the end of each turn.
